Tfw I come on after a week or so, make 3 posts, and already on top poster list. :noh:

Can a VPN actually increase your internet speed? My normal home connection is a 1.5mbps plan which just fucking dropped to even slower god awful speeds because I had to run another router to the guest house out back. So I then got on a VPN because I couldn't even browse the internets, and then checked my speeds and it said 6mbps, which is fucking amazing for me. Am I good now? lol

what the fuck no.

its putting a proxy through your internet, it should slow it down a couple of mbs.

ya that's what I was thinking but it's true that my internet never went over 1.5 before and that is the plan I pay for cus it's all that's available for this location but just now with the vpn it shows 5-6. :yay:
