Christmas contest (and resources) criticism

So I've spent some time reporting Aimi's duplicates (including double and even triple, meaning he shared the same resource 2 and 3 times all by himself).

It gave me a perspective that almost 90% of resources he "shared" are duplicates.

Same thing goes to Natsu and niho, they also don't seem to check for duplicates before posting.

But that's only one side of a problem.. I can understand spamming same resources over and over if uploaders at least were reuploading files to better places. No, they don't do it. They just copy and paste all the HTML from a shitty website, convert it to BBCode and hit submit.

How long will it take the websites to deny access to their images from other sites? One click of a button. And now all the "resources" are screwed.

Also, now that I know what website this resource was copy-pasted from, I can just go there and download the files without spending credits.

Same goes to the shitty file sharing sites all these websites use. A new user needs to register here, spend 5 hours and write 25 messages just to see the same crappy links as all other trash websites use?

So basically, almost all the resources that are shared by the people above have zero value.

Do the admins really need copy-pasted content from other blogs? It's easier to make a parsing/posting script for this purpose and add 100000 trash threads in 1 day. Why do you ask (and allow) users to do it?

The solution is simple: MAKE THE RULES:

1. Checking for duplicate resources is a MUST
2. Download links to Mega.nz ONLY (as the best cloud-sharing site without waiting/ads for now)
3. There MUST be a description
4. There MUST be at least one image of what's shared
5. All images MUST be rehosted to imgur.com (as the best image hosting for now), NOT hotlinked

And not required, but highly recommended:
6. Link to a live preview page
7. Link to a sales page

Also, I advise to exclude Aimi from Christmas contest for excessive spamming, he was clearly using the situation that admins and moderators were not paying attention to him.

They're not going to be excluding Aimi from the contest, it's already been set in stone for that. Moderators have been paying attention to him as he's been banned earlier today and got unbanned.

As far as the images being removed, it won't affect the resource links at all. Only the picture would be gone. If they want to been spoonfed, this isn't the forum for that. Google is there for a reason. Search up the resource, then download if you want.

I agree with some of the points here but the restrictive media sharing sites are a nono. People shouldn't be restricted to certain media sharing sites as long as they are not survey or known harmful sites.
And as for the image sharing, I also disagree with that. There are many great sites to upload pictures to. I personally use imgur as a backup, and now try to use https://pomf.io/ more.

I do think shares should be more restricted. As well as they should be self-uploaded.
And descriptions would be nice.
But as for what's going on with the resource whores currently, there isn't anything that will really change that.

Are you so sure? Maybe I should write a simple parser and spam 2000 trash threads a day like he is doing manually now? Will the admins be happy for me and encourage me to do it? Seems like no one cares about duplicates and everything, I can just go to the same websites those above were copy-pasting from and post the same content. When I win, I will laugh so hard

Yes maybe any post in webmaster resource must be moderated before anyone can see because people are sharing and copy pasting from other sites. Now nulled has 5.2k webmaster resources thats way too much.

In each and every posting contest people posts shit in webmaster section.

This is the issue with all sites of Nulled's nature, copy and pasting download links & using other websites images.

It's annoying when they go offline and it's also annoying to see the broken images. Should make it so unless the image is from Imgur or something local, then it's not allowed to be posted. Likewise with the download, or it should have user-uploaded mirrors.

Then the issue of double/triple posting, that would be down to wanting to win a discount code for a forum upgrade. Due to mass copy and pasting, they forget where they get to in a list/folder and often re-post the same null. They then continue to post it anyway without double checking, simply because it's then time lost on posting another leak.

So annoying.

This is so annoying.. 2/3x post same resource :D GTFO Credit whore !
