Coldest Winter

So, for Australia, this winter is going to be the coldest winter. It has been rumored it's going to be snowing in places it's never even snowed before, I am kind of excited because I have only really seen snow in New Zealand, Queen's Town.

Anyone else from Australia here? And know if these rumors are going to be true?

Damn, thank god it ain't winter here in the US since it was winter for the longest. Also, has it ever snowed in your area or is it a first?

It hasn't snowed yet in my area, but I am really hoping it does.

Wouldn't have a clue, timezones are stupidly crazy and confusing. I think it is? Our Winter starts in June I am pretty sure.
