Combat system...

I would say that the 1.7 is the best pvp version.There are also block hit in 1.7

the 1.7, long live the itemblock, I do not like the system of the 1.9, (and that's why I have never passed in version higher than the 1.8) but the 1.7 is the best for the fight

I prefer the 1.9 combat system because you have to be more strategic and not just be clicking all the time, I just basically like it alot.

After the sheild update in 1.9 I don't think any further version gonna beat the 1.7.x combat mecanism

1.8 combat system is way better 1.9 combat system realy sucks man

I think it is the stupidest thing ever. I really think they should switch back to 1.7/8 system.

I think that Tenebrous' new video goes into great detail about this and common stereotypes about it. I would say that I prefer the 1.8 system, but of course it is completely up for debate and is down to a person's personal opinion.

One thing that I and lots of other people have been suggesting is a /gamerule or some sort of command or configuration that you can do in game or on a server for you to choose the combat system. The reason why I say this is because at the moment lots of servers are just using 1.8 and then using a plugin like ViaVersion to make it compatible up to 1.12.2.

You can also use a 1.8 server version with ViaVersion and ViaRewind to make the server compatible for players 1.7 - 1.12.2 as lots of people still like the way that 1.7 works and looks and still use it.

I dont like the Combat System, Play on 1.7 thats better!

n my opinion 1.7/1.8 pvp is very beaitiful 1.9 pvp is very hard and gapple is not god

1.7 is the best pvp version but 1.8 is generally the master of everything because of it's stability. The main problem with 1.8 is the horrendousblock hitting mechanism.
