Comparing Vikings and Vikings Valhalla

Hello! If you have watched both Vikings and the Spin-Off Valhalla, I would love to hear your Opinion.
Which series do you prefer in terms of story, characters and atmosphere. Are there any great differences you noticed?

I think I will have to go with Vikings Valhalla. I like the characters a lot more (big fan of Leif Erikson) and the series is full of action, even though the predecessor did not lack it at all.
