Hey!

So I'm trying to get back into overwatch on PC.

Last time I played, it was beyond toxic, and the community wasn't great.

Is comptetive still worth playing? Has the community improved?

Let me know your thoughts.

Something that is impossible or extremely difficult to find, especially because the area you have to search is too large.

Here's something I try that's difficult for competitive games but I find it works more often than not:
- Try muting all of your team (You're right bro, they're most likely going to be toxic... especially anything under diamond and even in diamond getting towards masters)

- Just gotta be a bit more tentative and aware if you do this for sound queues so you can be much more alert of what's going on in the game instead

- It's a bit harder, obviously, given you won't have teammates making callouts for you, but I find you can actually focus on your own gameplay (can finally think about what you did right, what you did wrong when you die because you won't have your team flaming you for the mistake you've just made) and you won't get triggered or tilted into not wanting to play because you don't have to deal with the verbal abuse that would've otherwise ascended.

- Can just do this on a per game basis if you like or per player basis too, just need to block it out as soon as it starts happening and you'll still have a good time! There will be nice people out there sometimes looking to enjo themselves like you Smile

the community is and will always be toxic on overwatch best way to play competitive is just play with a full premade group of friends ( if you can ) because there will always be toxic people on overwatch xd
