If you know what you are doing there are no consequences. Majority of people who leak addons are not doing it out of the goodness in their soul. If you don't want to put in the work paying for it, put in the work in learning how backdoors work and are removed. Then you can use leaks to your hearts content, with no consequence.

Some leaked addons can have backdoors or sometimes you can find on bad servers addon with a virus and it can broke you computer..
