In fact, they can not be compared, one game is needed for competitions and the other is purely for entertainment.

I prefer Gmod, you can do everything on servers, csgo dont have many addons

Both of them . GMOD is fun with friends and TTT and many many other great gamemodes. CSGO is much more of a competitive game but u can still have fun with community servers , workshop etc
