#1 A few days ago they announced that cross-play is coming to Overwatch.
Console players will be able to group up with PC players if they want while PC players won't have an option to disable cross-play queues. It will be for the game modes other than competitive.

RE: Cross-Play is coming to Overwatch 17-06-2021, 08:28 PM #2 They are a year late but this is how blizzard works, they with their pride launch things when they consider it, I understand that the main reason and it will never be recognized is the huge loss of players and this way to unite everyone will be much easier and faster to find a game.
