This feature can't hurt, I'd feel like this would be a solid addition to the forums.

You mix something up there.

CTRL+Enter is common for newline while pressing enter normally sends the message

A feature like this wouldn't mind me, I think it's actually better for fast replying if necessary.

In a chat app maybe, social media applications Twitter, Facebook, forums mostly use ctrl+enter to submit.

Na it's CTRL+ENTER you can though set it to ALT+S
