Dark RP only for kids?

Why? Dark RP Not only kids gamemode in normal gamemode to fun

I think that darkrp is for anyone that is looking to have fun...

Nah, its the whole community. Most of them are kids but then its the small % thats like 16+

The majority of the playerbase inside of Garry's Mod are usually teens, some kids, and very few are above the age of 25. It's debatable on whether DarkRP is a childish gamemode or not, since it usually depends on what server its on. The concept of it is great, roleplay without anything to go off of (like millitaryrp, for example), but some servers execute it in different ways which can be either great or vastly horrible. I've been on both sides, so I believe I can back this up with personal experience.

I think it depends vastly on the owners, admins and addons. If its a loosley run server with abusive admins, MASSIVE amounts of useless, lag-causing addons and a player-base with the average age of 12, then its gonna be a bit crappier than say, a proper community set up with admins, a heirarchy and a good amount of addons that isn't going to press even the best of computers.

I'm tired of the kids that don't know what roleplay is. They should make a gmod mental test before playing. Something like HL2RP Clockwork.

Well kids are the most people on gmod unfortunately

I know a few servers that have a buttload of kids playing on it but i personally love DarkRP something about it is fun

I might get tracked down and killed for saying this, but what is actually wrong with DarkRP? It's amazingly coded and alot of fun on serious servers. Sure, there are people ruining it and cancerous kids everywhere, but that makes the servers bad not the gamemode. Maybe it's just one of those things where people say that something sucks just to fit in or because they are scared of saying what they really think.
