Dark or Light theme

Hi, i'm creating a website for my friends gaming community. He hasn't given me much detail. But for a GMOD community and a red logo. What would be better?
A Nice light themed or a dark flat theme?

I think go for a dark flat them. It would be better.

IMO dark themes are way harder to make look nice in the long run unless you really know what you are doing.

I love dark themes, however I've decided to go with Dark Grey and Ruby Red.
Who knows? It may look good.

Im personally more of a light theme thats because it doesn't hurt.
