what do you use for coding, i just start studying in programming and I would love to know how to code my own addon, but i don t know where to start and with what, any suggestion of software for programming do you recommend and i search up a bit and didn t find quite satifying base to know what to rite

I think theres an addon for ingame coding, but personally, I use Notepad++
The language for garry's mod is custom so you will have to learn that.(GLua)

Not really. I just recommend you open a test server to make sure your code works before ever putting it on your main server.
And don't try anything big until you feel you are ready

Ive got my own GMOD DarkRP server and it is so fun to code and mess around with it. I know where your coming from when you want to make a gmod server

Do "Basewars" gamemode, it's sick you can build bases and shit it's very complex. Search it up.
