Absurd statement to make, DarkRP is not dead and it is not at a steep decline at all.

Just browse the gmod servers list at peak hours and sort it by most popular to least, you'll see PLENTY of servers that are thriving in popularity and exceeding 40+ players, maybe even 50, 60 or 70 for some. Those who call it dead have attempted to make a server and failed and/or really haven't looked into actual statistics.
