This is most likely going to get denied, if you could ban yourself, you can just as easily request a vacation ban.

Yeah, I know this thread was mostly made for users to let them take a vacation ban instead of PMing a Staff since maybe they're busy and what not.

Why PM a staff member when you can post a thread in Ask Staff?

Sure it might work for nulledbb but I'm sure if someone did intend to study instead of browse they would either be able to do it without a ban or would find another site such as YouTube to browse instead.

I assumed you had to PM a staff to request a vacation ban since it been like that for almost all the forums I been on. But, I thought it would just save the user and staff some time.

Its not a big deal for staff to fulfill a vac ban request. It's not like we get them everyday.
