Hello!

As some of you may have noticed, the leak section on this forum isn't in my opinion given enough look at by the staff, and because of this, we end up with a lot of threads that are created with really bad leaks only made for credits and karma boosting, as well as non-detailed threads just throwing the leak like that without further explanations on what it contains.

And to fix this, I suggest the staff to add new rules that should be enforced to prevent useless spamming and leeching.

So here are my suggestions for new rules :

- Remove the possibility for members with less than 15 posts to post in the Leak section at all. This may seem a bit brutal, but if you look at the main Leak section, as well as the Minecraft and Garry's Mod leaks section (the latter being the most flooded with spam by clueless new members here to leech) the threads are litterally FILLED with post count boosting messages. Because of this, there is really small feedback or no feedback at all on the leaks, given that everybody is just posting "thank you" posts. Also, a lot of members are just posting "really good leak olol" even if they have less than 15 posts, which means they are just boosting their post count.

- Force leak posters, especially in the Garry's Mod section, to make a screenshot or a detailed list of what is inside the file if they leak an entire pack of add-ons, or a file containing multiple e-books or stuff like that. This currently is a big issue, as I've seen a lot of threads leaking a pack of 20, up to 50 GMOD addons while not saying a word about what is inside. You will probably understand that this website is not supposed to be russian roulette, so why are there still threads following the "win or die" principle by not saying what is inside the files they are leaking ?

And also :

- Do not give any credits or post count boost for any post made in the Leak section, as that would prevent newbies from spamming threads to get credits and posts.

No. It'll be impossible for staff to moderate half of these things.
The 15 posts thing until they can post in leak section is pretty useless as well, since they'll just spam other sections.

I agree with these terms and conditions, as long as the leaks section includes quality and for example fully working configs!

hmmm you are right but some people can get pissed of and those members could be active in the future my point is we need a less brutal approch to this matter

Umm, so this means I'll have to post 15 addons to enter leak section? i don't encourage this.

Alright, I quit.

You don't even read the post and yet you still complain, GG.

Can't stop the leechers, only ban. Ban ban ban ban ban. Sometimes they come back, sometimes not. I feel like the system we have now works for the amount of traffic we get normally. Anything more and it becomes a burden for staff and a deterrent for anyone wanting to join the forums. Anything less and well, you get LF.

You mean the other Nulled. Leak became a general forum a long time ago, but yeah, agree.

I only remember leak much earlier on, so that's all I had information to base it off of ;P
