So when a member is permed I think the reputation they gave positive and negative reps should not count towards the users reputation however still remain there.

Example, multi gets banned, they had the opportunity to rep someone twice or more. Should both of the reps count?

If they're positives they should count. If they're negs then they're not counted.

Getting double positive rep from a multi does not seem that fair.

Positives and Negatives should be removed Smile That way it would be fair.

I dont agree with this idea at all personally. If reputation given breaks any sort of rules and a user does not have a legitimate reason for giving negative rep it can be faught. With that said, relevant -reps from users that have legitimate reason should not be removed in my opinion unless whatever reason the rep was given for was proven inaccurate or so on. Lets say a user gets spammed or etc by a member so that user negative reps that member with a valid reason of doing so. Then if that user got banned one day down the road, that users negative rating on the user that spammed them should be there to warn users of that members actions etc. on my phone so kinda half assed response but I hope you get where Im coming from.

The rep would still remain there just not count to the overall amount.

The point of negative reputation is to in a form punish the user and or reflect on their existence as a reputable or non reputable member. That would be a double negative removing a users penalty for rule breaking.

So. I have 2 negs. 1 From a Multi scammer saying I sales trash his scam thread trying to scam people for $1200, my other neg is from a carder that is banned for copy and pasting.

Why would the reps they left be allowed to be countedwell they broke rules and got permanently banned.

4. You are not allowed to give reputation to a member who you think is a scammer without proof.
5. You are allowed to give and take reputation for any reason and opinion (exception rule 04.).
