Denied suggestion on leecher filtering.

The thing about this idea is that hiding leaks from members / guests would have literally no new members join. I joined because there was a leak I wanted, I'm sure most of the active userbase is like that
The thing is a post requirement encourages spam no matter where it is. Having a post requirement to not let leechers post in leak sections will just have them post in places like general. Which I feel is a much worse fate. Because then even forum discussions get ruined by people saying "wowiz zowie ur Kool!"

With the 50 post limit that invites more shit post and in my opinion the staff should at least make it a must for all users to change their avatar.

There is just something about this idea that sounds off, i mean its not a bad idea, but i think that straight up hiding a big part of the forum may be a meh idea. Although Nasyrs idea with staff having to review it themselves sounds really good, but that might be too much work.

I think to implement this or a similar idea like this opens up the conversation of how the leaks are unlocked as well. I like the idea but am mindful of the extra work for staff or turning away new members

No. That's literally telling us to remove our forum from search engines since the part that drives us the most traffic will be hidden.
Also I saw someone mention a timer, that will not work in a million years. Let me tell you how to bypass it:

1. Sign up.
2. Wait x hours.
3. Spam to get your credits

Nothing changes besides an x hour delay.

Denied, though if anyone has a good idea, feel free to create another thread. Discussion about cleaning up the forum and gaining activity that aren't leechers are always welcome.
