Denuvo? Hated or Loved?

This mainly pertains to PC gamers. Denuvo is a supposedly a hardcore DRM that encrypts and decrypts your game while you play. Making sure your copy is legit everytime you start up. How do you guys feel about Denuvo? I honestly don't get any negative effects from it, but based on what I read, it does more harm than good...

"Denuvo locks you into your purchase platform for now to eternity. If you purchase a Denuvo game on Steam, you must use Steam forever or abandon your purchases to the wind. If your Steam account gets hacked or locked, your games are gone, because they were never really yours, and you never really even had a copy of them."

Your basically renting until the landlord says "yeah, gtfo".

It's like, always online DRM right? As in you can't play unless you have an internet connection.

Denuvo is basically a scam. Game developers pay them an exorbitant amount of money for the privileged of not getting their games pirated right from the word "Go" once Denuvo is cracked however there's no point in keeping it in place so 90% of the time it's removed from the game. Hence a huge waste of money for game developers to pay for a DRM that barely works as it is and usually requires removal after the game has been cracked.

Yeah. And even if the game is an offline game you still need an internet connection for Denuvos server check.

I have never run into any problem with Denuvo, so I cant say for sure.
But one thing I do not like is that you cannot play offline which sucks.

Yeah that's annoying already.
Well at least Denuvo gets cracked pretty often now so..

i like it haha, not shure why but i never had a problem with it

Well its crackable with'in the first week or releases so i'm ok with or without it.

Devs need to start making there games like CD PROJEKT RED they know how to make you buy their games!
