Diamond layer

What layer do you normally find diamond in minecraft?

It starts spawning at y level 16 and below. It is best to mine at level 11 or 12 because lava level is at 10. Level 11 is better in my opinion because it is less likely that you'll be directly on top of lava if something happens. It also makes finding lava pools a bit easier.

I usually dig 2 layers above bedrock in tunnels works for the most part/but yes layer 16 and below is correct.

following the wikipedia of minecraft, layer 13-12 to avoid lava

i find diamonds when i get to the 16th or 14th level usually

Usually I do line mining at level 11 or 3x3 all at lvl 11. It's best to do line mining between level 15 and bedrock, or only at 11

y12 is my level. One above all the lava so you can start early game without the threat of dying to much. I play hardcore so staying safe is #1 priority lol.

I usually go around 10 and mine around that level with a beacon

its ussually layer 11 because you can see layers 10 through 13
