Did Apex kill fortnite?

It's far from dead, but it was hit a massive blow no doubt. Epic Games put out a 50% discout on the fortnite starter pack after the success of Apex. Now they're giving out the battle pass for free. I think they're noticing that the players are leaving.

Not killing but well, fortnite and apex doesn't have the same community

Apex looks fucking great for the Source engine, even if it is their special snowflake version they made. Honestly prefer it to the other battle royale games simply because it's basically just Titanfall but with no mecha and battle royale stuff.

At the moment it may have more hype but i believe fortnite will continue to live the longest

It's kind of like the PUBG against Fortnite situation, Apex took most players out of Fortnite (Including big youtubers) but it still isn't quite dead yet.
Fortnite will last a bit longer due to the way its community is and how Fortnite seems to appeal more to kids when compared to Apex.

Apex Legends is thebest of all worlds, it has taken all the best features from all the battle royale games and combined it into one and added even more. I personally hope it does.

well, like.. i dunno. I like fortnite, and have never played Apex. So, i wouldnt knooow.

Yeah, I think so, it's doing pretty well these days and showing some great player increase

i think it just a trend and it gonna die like every other 'fortnite killer' , it has already lost half it views on twitch

Well, Fortnite isn't quite dead yet, but it will be soon.
