Did you ever try to get serious about youtube?

So my question is... Have you ever tried to get serious about a youtube channel preferably at a young age and if so would you be willing to share?
Honestly I feel like any kid with a camera who watched youtube tried it at least onceI know I did. I dedicated my self for like 2 years to a channel and damn I took it so serious. I had a gang of friends andwe would record all week and then compile everything Friday edit Saturday and Sunday and post Sunday night or Monday when everyone got out of school depending on how long the edit was. Of course everyone says they are good but I honestly learned after effects, Photoshop, and premiere pro so well I had people at school asking meto edit pictures and videos of them. I even charged someone one time easiest 5 bucks I ever made. But not everyone is lucky enough to get that far and quit after the first or second video so I ask again. Do you wanna share your first video?

Im debating whether I should start a youtube channel on Gaming! But Idek should I, I mean all youtubers become famous

I started my first channel probably 2014. I wanted to get serious about it but never could. But now my channel is at 20,000 subscribers. Your prospective on your channel changes once you get subscribers. If you are still trying to be serious about you channel do it! If you really are passionate about your channel you will keep grinding out videos. I had to grind videos for 3 years just to get to where I am now

yes and i was succesful in 2014 until retarded young me decided leave that channel behind
all thats left is my first videos and old minecraft videos of my friends and i.
reason why i called it successful because alot of my videos passed 9k views a couple days after it was uploaded.
i always tried tries getting back into it but meh hard
currently at 100 views a week on current channel (pretty good tbh)
i post some vidz later

yah. I had a couple of channels with quite a good amount of subscribers and I really enjoyed but I stopped because I didn't play the games the channel was about anymore.

I started two extremely small channels. One as a kid, with shitty videos me and some friends made that were supposed to be funny.
The second channel I made was probably like a bit over a year ago, for some music but my CPU wasn't able to render videos properly and kept overheating, causing me to get fucked, so I stopped shortly after.
Now that I have a new computer maybe I can jump back on it.

Yeah it was actually a dream I could have made possible about 3 years ago, but now as YouTube is its almlst impossible as the grind is 10x more and you cant even start earning money unless your a medium sized channel.

I did when I was about 12/13. I absolutely regret it and have deleted most of my videos.

As long as you're having fun and producing decent content you will get there honestly. I'm thinking of starting YouTube again, it just needs a lot of time and effort. If you're having fun while doing it, time will fly by and you will get noticed. You have to be consistent so people come for more, you don't wanna post a video every month or something, have a schedule, have interesting content, have fun while doing it and success is right around the corner.

Of course if your personality is there and you love what you do its gonna be faster and youll get there, but in your mind if you just have ?want to be famous, want to get money, want to get views then youll never get there as people will see that in your content.
