Did you know about riddim dubstep, if you do what's your opinion on it?

I've felt recently like alot of the EDM kids from 2011-2013 are kinda reviving the party scene again, I got a friend who is a riddim DJ in Luxembourg and it seems gain more and more popularity there.
My personal thought on riddim dubstep is that it's reviving alot of the music techniques we know from commercial dubstep from the years 2011 to 2015, which I really really enjoy so far, I just recently found myself also going back and listening to some classic artists like Excision and Deamau5 with their old songs (If you don't know X rated from Excision I can only recommend it, I love this song). I talked to my friend about it and he sees it the same, now I wanted to get some opinion from other people to get a grip of the situation if it's worth investing time and money into this niche genre or not.

(People seem to enjoy artists like INFEKT alot, also disciple round table back this genre)

Also pretty much alot of the commerical dubstep these days is trash and not worth listening to in my opinion.

Also what were your favourite dubstep songs or electro songs from the 2011 era? Tell me!
