Do I need to "crack" graphic ressources?

Hey guys,
I'm pretty new to this stuff and I have some questions. I don't know if this is the right section but I didn't find a better place.
Do I need to do anything with graphic ressources I download from paid sites? Do they mark the buyer of the graphic someone in the meta information?

Crack applies only to software application, most graphic resources are either photoshop files or png and such do not need to be crack or reverse engineered. You may need the respective software to open said files though.
