Do you believe fortnite is overrated?

With the modern hit off game Fortnite - it strikes to me that the game is really basic and yet people in college who probably never played a video game before are purchasing PCs/Laptops/Consoles to play this game yet I still don't see what is so striking about it.

I dont believe it is overrated, i just think it is towards a specific audience. I love the game, i think everything about it is great. things could be better but its still highly enjoyable to me.

Yes. There is so much hype and attention for a game / genre that isn't really that interesting.

It's a fun little thing for time to time if you have time to kill and friends to play with.

However I do think it's somewhat over-hyped at times, considering it's not the first Battle-Royale game that came out anyway

Its overrated
Because fortnite is free
Number 1 on twitch
And low system requirements

Yeah Fortnite is overrated, the only reason it is though is because of Ninja and all the kids playing it.

amen to that. actually true. and when a new survival game comes out. fortnite will die. eventually

yeah its overated in my opinion, most of my friends have spent 100+ dollars on it

For my opinion all battle royale games are overrated.

Don't like the game, it's like....

Drop out, > Land > find nothing > get rekt by shotty
