Do you believe in an afterlife?

I believe when you die there's... nothing. Like, when you sleep and you don't dream, just nothing.

I believe in an afterlife because of my Catholic faith, and I feel like it is pointless not to believe in some type of afterlife. If you believe that there is just nothingness after death, then what is the point of living. None of what you do on this world will matter since there is nothing in the end. Just my thoughts.

I do not believe in one personally, but I'll probably believe in it when I'm much closer to death. It causes people relief and if anyone wants to take away that relief because 'Mah atheism', then they're fools. Questions like this to be honest should not even be asked, everyone even the most religious person you know has an inkling of an idea that there is no afterlife. Personally, I believe in an afterlife, our soul will live on and our body will die.
