Just as the title says, do you believe what the Dem's are currently trying to accomplish with impeachmentwill actually happen?

I personally believe this is wasting tax-payer dollars and nothing will be accomplished. I also believe there is no impeachable offense, or any offense at all. No president has ever been impeached (acquitted or pardoned), and there wont be an impeached presidentfor awhile. (I hope)

if anything DOES get done it will be too late and it will already time to vote for a new leader

So ladies and gents. Read, Learn, Educate yourself and vote. it really is important

i really wish Ben Shapiro would run for office

The chance is small that it will go forward. As a wise man said once - hope dies last.

In my opinion, I feel like the impeachment would not go through, due to Republicans being the Majority in the Senate, and even if it was likely, Trump could simply resign before being impeached. That is exactly what Richard Nixon had done. Though you are correct about there technically being no impeachments, 3, maybe soon to be 4 presidents were very close to being impeached.

No one is above the law, not even the president of the United States. And Im sorry, but if a president deliberately gives money to a foreign government on the condition that the foreign power investigate our citizens, that is against the law

With the majority of Dems in the House, it seems inevitable that the House will impeach Trump. This last week of testimony has been pretty incriminating toward what he is being accused of (extortion, quid pro quo). I think it is unfortunate that we are in such a polarized time in our politics that career politicians aren't being able to actually discuss -- is political extortion worthy of removal from office?

President Clinton lied to Congress and was impeached by the House for doing so, then the Senate voted to not remove him and it wasn't along party lines (correct me if I'm wrong) because they determined it wasn't flagrant enough for that consequence. I wish that was where our politicians were right now: is what Trump did worthy of the removal? Rather it gas fallen along party lines and that never benefits anyone.

I respect the process that impeachment/removal proceedings must go through, but it is frustrating to see the diversion of taxpayer funds when our country is struggling as it is with financial inequality.

The house may just write articles of impeachment, but sondland testimony came nowhere near incriminating..in his deposition while being questioned by jim jordan he explicitly stated "that the president told me no quid pro quo"... if you watched the entire deposition..
Sure they can write articles of impeachment, but if it gets to the senate it will be presided by the chief justice where judicial law won't allow for hearsay to be admitted into evidence...most of the testimony will be thrown out as hearsay is not acceptable in a judicial proceeding.
