Do you code your own stuff?

There are a variety of tools and frameworks available to you when building a web application. However, we believe Laravel is the best choice for building modern, full-stack web applications.

A Progressive Framework

I'm teaching myself how to code with an old forum script my friend had made and abandoned then gave to me. My plan is to rewrite it for PHP 7+ and HTML 5. But for all intents and purposes it's a full featured script(learning what I have I even added my own features.) So that's going to take some effort haha.

I did this as well. Except, I attempted to code my forum script from scratch. I only referenced the existing forum when I needed to figure out the logic for something. Doing it by yourself is going to help you in the long run.

I am currently learning python and learn alot by doing tasks by my own. You understand more by doing it by your self.

Usually but when I can use something like WordPress I prefer them.

Ye, i love to code some small pages which loads data from Excel tables, but now im trying to use it with SQL

Oddly enough.
I didn't even start using Laravel officially until recently.

I still prefer going the RAW PHP route, no frameworks except mini ones like validators and such.
Over time, this may change.

You learned 100 times more writing your own stuff. Everybody knows the infamous youtube tutorial in which the tutor states "And just paste this small bit of code here and essentially what this does is it makes the program work." This gives you nothing and you learn nothing. While it's okay to take a small bit of code if you understand what it does and it does it better than whatever you were doing it doesn't help taking the whole program and pasting it into an empty editor.

It's mixed. Sometimes i yoink from internet if i'm stuck.

Combinations own and existing to save my time.
