I love to drive. I have a 1994 Jeep Cherokee with a 5 speed and I love her.

I will be getting my driver's license soon. It took a long time to get there, but finally the time has come to get them.

Yep. Although with Covid, I only drive to the shops or work... So my skills aren't what they used to be!

Good thing about living in a big city is that I don't currently have need for a car. As a student it would only be a one more expense so it's nice that I can get everywhere with public transport or by walking/biking. Once I complete my studies in couple of years I'll have to start thinking about getting a car.

I drive more now than I used to (I lived in Chicago for a while, and I mostly took the L or the Metra because I hated driving in the city), but right now I'm only at about once a week due to Covid and all. I have a Subaru Legacy--a great little car, and really nice for the winter months.

I have an inner ear disorder called BPPV, and the state doesn't really want you to drive if you just randomly get dizzy and fall over. My sister went through pretty extensive physical therapy to learn how to move the little calcium buildups in her ears. My BIL was still in the navy so she still had pretty great health insurance. My current insurance, it's good, but it's not THAT good. So, I will forever be a ride mooch.
