Do you have any basic tips for a Unity beginner?

Starting to get into Unity do you have any advice?

I'd advise you to not do it, unity is clunky and glitchy, I don't know if you noticed by there is rarely a good unity game.

^ he doesnt know what hes talking about. Tons of games that people play and love were created with Unity including escape from tarkov, disco elysium, superhot, cuphead. It's very flexible and it's capable of whatever you are.

To learn Unity, your best bet is to find a base asset pack. Like a base game with not very many features and start learning C# through introductory Youtube videos and see what you can add to that base game. And then once you've watched enough tutorials and practiced the fundamentals, make a game in a couple of days and see how you feel about your knowledge.

There's plenty of amazing unity assets out there

I'd recommend you first start using BuildBox
It's free and great for beginners to make games. And I am using BuildBox to make games
