I hate it. I got 3 chopper gunners in a single game and ever since then I've noticed that each match is significantly more difficult. I don't understand why they don't go back to how they used to do it. It's not like the old system was broken or anything. Tongue

This is where SBMM is beneficial as it separates the professional and hardcore gamers from ones that just do it for fun and don't have the time to get to a high level of skill. Thus, the good players play amongst each other while the worse ones play with people of a similar level

Why wouldn't you like skill based match making? Similar ratings are best opponents

I think there could be a choice, where you can pick if you want to be matched on skill, or just 'chill out' when you play.

That way, some people can rank up with fellow try hards or people actively trying to be the best in the match.

Other people can alternatively just 'chill' with other like-minded people.

The problem is that, tryhards will begin to infiltrate the 'chill' rooms, so it's a hard issue to solve on all sides.

It certainly gave me a good feeling. I had never been able to play a Call of Duty until Modern Warfare. Although it is true that sometimes they put me with levels much higher than mine, it is usually quite balanced, allowing me to enjoy the game.

I have a question - those of you that use server list browsers, do you prefer that to matchmaking?
