Blanket! I can't use a sheet because I need something short enough that I can stick my feet out from under it. Otherwise I can't get comfortable.

Depends on how cold it is. If by sheet you mean a sheet with a quilt inside, then that alone suffices most of the time. If it's particularly cold yet blankets tend to get you all itchy, simply put it over your quilt and there you go Much warmer that way and zero itch.
