Well they keep on updating the "normal" gmod. So I dont really think they do GMOD 2

GMod 2.0? Nah. They'll just finish the Chromium 64-bit version and say "have at it assholes"

I don't think so. It seems that Garry moved a lot of developers from other projects in Facepunch studios to Rust. But i think there's hope for that. Time will tell.

I think it doesn't get same popularity as Gmod until it uses UE4 and 60% of gmod players has shitty PCs

honestly doubt it, but since source 2 is out, there is a small possibility? i doubt it though honestly, facepunch is more concerned with rust

They already put a ton of work into it, I don't think its cancelled. It might be that its just on delay at the current moment.
