Do you think Spanish is difficult to learn?

At first, I loved Spanish when I was taking it in school. Especially the basics like counting, the alphabet, and different objects. However, when it started going into masculine and femine rules and forming sentences. I got confused and could never get the grasp of it. My teacher also was a complete asshole and was no help at all lol.

It's fairly hard if you've never learned another language before, compared to languages like latin, german, french etc. I'd say it is comparably easy though

no, my main language is portuguese so it's not so difficult
