Do you think eSports is the next big thing?

Do you think eSports will become the largest "sports" competition in the next following years? What do you enjoy about eSports? Do you think it will grow, staggard, or fail? I am quite interested in this topic as I used to play games competitivelybut have since stopped.

I think eSports is the next big thing once people realize how big the gaming community is and how it is more then just nerd sitting in their mommas basement

E-sports has so much potential, it depends on how much large companies pay attention. The US military have now started recruiting for US E-sports teams now.

This isn't the new generation but an alternative sport!!

Honestly, I think e-sports has a very large potential and it is kind of just a matter of time till it takes over. Especially with how prominent games are in this upcoming generation.

Nah Soccer aka football will always be the best sport. However, i can see that eSport will be nearly as popular as football.

Yes no matter what anyone says, look at the money that goes to these guys. All the subscribers and dedicated people throwing their money to watch their favorite player. I don't get it but good for them for not spending on worse things, and good for the streamers that get to do something fun and make profit doing it.

In China, e-sports is a nationally recognized sports activity, and players are considered athletes.
I believe that e-sports will be selected for the Olympics in the near future.

definitely. it is making it onto major sports channels and teams are earning a lot of money.
