I think so but what's the difference

While it's not dead, it might aswell be. Majority of the users on the server are bots and/or do nothing.
Hackers are also a big problem on the server and they don't seem to care whether or not they get banned.
I have VIP+ and it has been the biggest waste of money due to all the problems Hypixel has.

Hypixel still has the largest active playerbase, it's far from dead.

I don't think hypixel is dead because at the moment he is the most popular server in Minecraft on Java version
