Tesla has come a far way with their cars, but I wouldn't say I trust them. Self driving is cool and all but you cannot trust something like that to keep you safe as there have been accidents happening with this car in particular. What do you think?

Yes but no. Beyond updating the software to provide more security to the autopilot ... For me it will unfortunately not be possible to ensure 100% that there are no accidents. Think a little about the driver who is in front, many times for reasons, whether for alcohol or whatever, the autopilot is not trained I think to avoid the collision, but one behind the wheel through perception can avoid it ... In conclusion, there is no better driver than yourself.

It's hard to say. I think for easy routes then sure, but everything else I'd rather trust myself to drive.

a computer can make faster reactions than a person can.

Self driving cars are better drivers than people are. If every car on the road were self driving, traffic accidents would be a thing of the past. As others have pointed out, though... the human element is there and is still dangerous. Until self driving cars are the norm and human drivers are the exception, I trust them as much as I trust the drivers around me. That said, statistically speaking, they seem to drive saferthan the average human in conditions with good visibility.

I don't have one, but I would trust it so much. If I learned something in my course is that computer doesn't commit mistake. If something bad happens either it was poorly programmed or some human interfered.

I would trust it but I would never depend on it, like I would never fall asleep while it's driving.

Anything can go wrong when it comes to machinery or even humans for that matter, so deep down I would always be weary.

brother owns a tesla and i'm looking to potentially get one.

at first i was a skeptic, but after riding in my bros car almost weekly i would have to say its pretty trust worthy

I would trust tesla autopilot over 90% of actual drivers today HAHA
