No but it is always good to use one if you have one.

It really depends on what you're doing. Most activities online don't need a VPN as encrypting your traffic is very unnecessary unless there is a concern with either your ISP knowing what you're doing or the service you're connecting to knowing what you're doing and who you are.

Be sure to also see what the VPN's policies are on encryption as well as logs and storing data. Some VPN companies store logs which can be pulled by law enforcement.

Nope, but the people I play Siege with do and it takes sooo long to load into a game.

I honestly dont even connect to the internet anymore without a vpn active

I mean its got its perks and the cons. I guess it really depends on what you wanna use it for.

I use a VPN when I do some things that I do not want my ISP tracking. When I did not use one at some point, I got a letter from the ISP saying that the content I was downloading may deter my agreement. So I use Private Internet Access and it has not failed me yet to do what I need to get done. No more letters from my ISP. Stay safe out there!

not for casual browsing but yes for if I am doing thigns my government may or may not disapprove of

anyone know of a paid offshore VPN that doesn't require a login?
