Do you use discord? why?

I remember the good old days when Skype was a thing, Then it was Teamspeak now its Discord. It just seems that voice servers are slowly evolving and Discord is the most popular right now. It has lots of cool features and integrates well with games.

In my opinion discord is the software to use for Voice Interaction with other people, its design, its user friendly way it works is awesome. And of course now that they made it so communities can use it, i believe it will become even more improved. The con though is that it lacks in resources when it comes to developing something for a game, and by resources i mean it lacks of integrations between voice in game and a voice server, which teamspeak doesn't do that, at least at the present time.

SO to conclude, if you want it for fun and community and dont need voice integration between game and voice server its awesome!! :D

I use discord since its the easiest to use and meet new people in my opinion

I use discord to communicate with my friends during the pandemic. We have all migrated over from other various communication platforms.

use it ofcourse because most of my customers uses it and it has servers makes it easy to organize conversations

I'm pretty sure most people here will use discord and that's just because you can communicate with people from all over the world without having to go to them IRL. It makes it easy for when you want to talk to someone abroad or talk to friends in different countries who also play the same games you do.

It's the best communication software out there in my eyes, that's why I use it. Teamspeak is too complicated for users and focuses on vcs... not text. Discord is free and you don't have to pay additionally to host a server.
