Does anyone use a distro of Linux to game?

I've never used linux before but it has intrigued me. I only game on the computer and from what I've learned gaming isn't big on linux so it gets little attention. Does anyone here game on linux? If so what distro(s) works? Would it be terribly hard to setup for a noob? Thanks for your help guys.

i think linux is with problems if you really want to play games wthiouth many problems lol
