Does pineapple belong on pizza?

I am half-italian while being half-british.

Saying that I just disagreed with the idea of putting it on a pizza in the first place as a NO GO.
I never tried it for years and years.
UNTIL I did cause there was nothing else there and I was just hungry.

I liked the sweetness and all I can totally get why people would like it and I indeed enjoyed it.
But it is still not my type of pizza to go.
I love more basic type pizza.

I am already happy if the pizza is homemade. Has some great tomato sauce and high class mozzarella.
Because to be honest all these fast food delivery services which do like 10 cuisines at once ARE ALL a disgrace of a pizza. Period.

A really good pizza already in the most basic form with tomato sauce and mozzarella is just sooooooooooooooooo god damn good.
