Been wanting to get into graphic design and i've been getting obsessed with procreate on the ipad (even tho i dont have one, just watching videos). And I was wondering if anyone was in a similar spot where I dont know if i should invest in a drawing tablet for my PC or instead just invest in an ipad for art use and use applications like procreate and nomad sculpt. Leaning more to the tablet cause its less of a hassle idk though.

I totally understand your dilemma, and it's great that you're considering investing in a tool to pursue your interest in graphic design. Both options have their advantages, so let's explore them to help you make an informed decision.

Investing in a drawing tablet for your PC can be an excellent choice, especially if you already have a powerful computer. Drawing tablets, such as Wacom or Huion, offer a wide range of features and precision that can enhance your graphic design experience. They typically provide pressure sensitivity, customizable buttons, and a larger working area, giving you more control and versatility in your digital artwork. With a drawing tablet, you can use popular software like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, which offer a vast array of tools and capabilities for graphic design professionals.

On the other hand, investing in an iPad for art use can also be a fantastic option. The iPad, coupled with apps like Procreate and Nomad Sculpt, provides a portable and intuitive platform for creating art. Procreate is a powerful and widely acclaimed application, offering a variety of brushes, layers, and other features tailored specifically for digital artists. It provides a natural drawing experience and has an active community that shares resources and tutorials, making it easier for beginners to learn and improve their skills. The iPad's touch screen and Apple Pencil compatibility further enhance the creative process.

As others have mentioned, it really depends on what you want to create and where - I'd go with a tablet if you work on the computer, otherwise an Ipad is an easy on-the-go design option.
