Dumb Question?

The value of the currency increases and people make more money.

Higher risk, higher reward. At this moment the market is terrible. But alot of people say this is the time, since it will only go up.

Really a dumb question indeed.
Investors would invest in what they find worth investing, the question is extremely subjected to views of a particular individual.
As for me, why i trust in crypto is because ive been using then since 5+ years and have only gained profit and knowledge through them. Unlike stocks which i've never invested in/ nor am i interested in.

A lot of users believe cryptocurrency is the future, plus it offers untraceable deals. (You can't chargeback too!)

People want to invest in the next bitcoin and get rich and they are to stupid to know about stocks even though its the same.

In my opinion, its because its easier, you can stay anonymous and dont evevn have to be 18+ I think

Because a pump and dump in normal stocks is illegal and easier to detect. The cryptos are still new so not many regulations have been formed so far. It won't last for long.
