You don' want to cover just a little bit of the text, it looks off and it weakens the design overall!
A thing you could take in consideration is removing the city/forest below the text and enlarging the text to match the proportions of the wolf as of now it looks a bit small.

I like it but the alpha looks like it could be fixed on the dark grey near the top.
