EOS Mining

Hello guys, I'd love to know if I can mine EOS. If yes, what specification needed to mine it and can you recommend any good tutorials to setup the mining rig.

I thought EOS was POS and not POW? and i guess its better to mine Eth and convert to EOS for better bigger gains?
