What is EZ Inventory?
EZ Inventory is a Inventory system much like others, however it has features many others do not. EZ Inventory can easily be built on top of and there will be modules coming soon which will support more features. There are intuitive drop spots so when you drag an item you can either Drop, Give or Use. Dropping will drop the item in front of you, Giving will transfer the item to the player you are looking at, Use will use the item as if you were pressing 'e' on it.
Using Items
Using items is very useful if you have a populated server as it reduces the amount of items and props that are actually spawned on your map. Instead of having a stack of guns you can keep them in your inventory and equip them when you need to.
Will items stay after leaving?
Yes they will, the inventories are stored in the local SQLite database by default, there is a MySQL option which will allow you to run multiple servers and maintain the same inventory across all servers, this is important for big communities or if you are looking to expand. Inventories are saved frequently and are no ways of duplicating items.
I'm on DarkRP 2.4.3
If you're on 2.4.3 you can use EZ Inventory with all the features. Your inventories will also migrate over to 2.5 as the inventory system is exactly the same so you won't be losing your investment moving over to a new version!
Is this just another inventory addon?
You could say so, yes. But this Inventory system allows MySQL support and has new features not seen anywhere else, there are also modules planned to come out in the coming weeks that will extend the capability of EZ Inventory, so this is almost a base addon that will definitely be built upon.
Installation
Installation of EZ Inventory is very easy, in most cases it will be just a drag and drop into your addons folder. MySQL setup will require more work but I can help you with setting up EZ Inventory with MySQL
