Hello guys,

I have a garrys mod TTT - Server and use a bunch of addons there. For example a simple weapon and i want to change the dmg of it. How can I do that? I add my addons with the Collection ID.

I tried to setup FastDL but it doesnt work for me, maybe i just fail something idk.

So is there a way to edit the lua files and still use the "workshop id" method?

Thank you for your help

yes you can https://steamworkshopdownloader.io/

Download addon, edit it. Then upload back to workshop under your account (make sure to not make obvious that you're reuploading an addon).

Then add to collection and you're done

By obvious I mean, it would be better for you not to copy the exact same image nor name it "{addon name} edited" but name it like, "{server name} weapon content" or something similiar

Crowbar has a lot of features. One of them is to publish .gma data to the workshop. Works absolutely fine for me. Published a few workshop files for my server using that method.

But thanks for your help anyway

You could edit the files and post them on workshop yourself
