Editing Softwares

I'm pretty new to Editing. Does anyone have good editing softwares?

Vegas pro is a very good editing software that I use. Other than vegas, I would recommend Premiere Pro.

For AMV: After Effects
For regular content: Premiere
For the worst of both worlds: Sony Vegas.

I prefer anything from Adobe due to the fact that they are industry standards - there are some solid alternatives on the market but generally you should stick with what is being used instead of being the black sheep.
