Brackets offers a lot of features you won't see in many other editors while still being minimal in style and without having too much going on at once. There's an inline editor feature, live previewing, and the editor itself is open source. I'd recommend it for any web developer.

Atom is actually great, I use sublime text sometimes too.
Play russian rulette:

Atom or Sublime is nice if you only need a text editor, otherwise if you're going with applications, webstorm is great.

Sublime Text and Notepad++ are the best simple text editor I have used Smile

I do like Brackets from Brackets.io helps you transferring a psd to HTML, really good IDE.
