Embroidery

Is anyone here doing embroidery, or knows someone who does?

I wonder how hard is is and does it take a lot of time?
Is that something that you can only do with hand or can you also do it with a sewing machine?

I've seen my sister do it on her super duper seeing machine. Just YouTube it. Maybe it's more headache than it's worth and your better off just farming out to some China sweat shop.
